Drop a PDF, EPUB, or TXT and Voxlik reads it aloud — no character limits, no sign-up, and no upload. The file is parsed on your device, so nothing leaves your browser.
Open the reader. Drop your PDF, EPUB, or TXT onto the page, or paste text or an article URL.
Pick a voice. Use the free browser voice, the on-device Neural Voice (Kokoro), or your own OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google, or Azure key.
Press play. Follow the sentence highlight, adjust speed, set focus markers on a range, and highlight or annotate as you listen.

PDF to speech FAQ
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Voxlik parses and reads your file directly in the browser. The document stays on your device, which is why it works offline once the page is loaded.
Is there a character or page limit?
No character limits. You can load a full book and listen straight through, jumping between sections as you go.
Do I need an API key?
No. The built-in browser voice and the on-device Neural Voice (Kokoro) are free. If you prefer OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google, or Azure voices, you can bring your own key — it is stored locally in your browser.
Which file types are supported?
PDF, EPUB, and TXT, plus pasted text and web article URLs.
Can I download the audio?
Yes. If you use your own provider key, you can export the narration as an audio file.
